Island Hopping in Greece

The Greek islands of the Cyclades have it all!! Greece has the oldest history of Europe and that is what you will look and feel if you travel to Greece. The historical buildings in Athens are breathtaking. In Greece you can go to many directions, the main land but also the several islands groups in the Mediterranean sea. I went to the Cyclades in September which is the perfect time, after high season and not too hot! Check my travel experience in these blogs below with many inspirations and tips. I hope you like what you see and will have blast like me! Let me know your experiences!

Greek Cyclades: Why you should go!

Explore the beautiful nature with rugged rock formations and picture perfect white beaches with azure blue sea around the islands of Milos. Do a boat tour and/or rent a motorbike to explore by yourself. Amaze the amazing panoramic views on Santorini with traditional white villages with blue-domed churches which will give you perfect shots during sunset. Realize Santorini is a real tourist attraction. Visit one of the many ancient archaeological sites for example in the capital Athens and on the sacred island Delos. And all these hot spots and activities in sunny warm weather with blue skies. Next to that, taste the traditional Greek food with fish and meat with fresh tzatziki and party at one of the renowned party and glamour destinations Mykonos. Or visit the idyllic island Ios with a lot of charm on the one hand but party for the younger on the other side of the island. I had a blast and fell in love with the friendly Greeks. Here you will find tips and inspirations and an optional itinerary for two weeks through the Cyclades in Greece.
