Mexico

Travel to Maya Mexico

Mexico is a very diverse country in Central America and perfect for nature, food, beach, surf and outdoor adventure lovers! Mexico has it all, but is a huge country, which is impossible to see all at ones. It stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea, with its borders to the US, Guatemala and Belize. Is has rising volcanoes to sandy beaches and of course the great archaeological monuments and the rich Maya culture. Top notch museums in Mexico City and lovely handicraft of the local and indigenous people.

The people are so friendly, colorful and warm and are willing to prepare the most delicious food for you. You read a lot of the cartels and drugs in Mexico, but I haven’t experienced any uncomfortable situation on my trips.

Mexico: Where to go?

Mexico really triggered me in a very positive way! Read further in my blogs that will cover the Mexico City, Oaxaca (including Puerto Escondido area) and San Cristóbal de Las Casas in Chiapas. In 2019 I traveled for two months in Central America and started in Mexico City. The food is amazing in Mexico especially in the Oaxaca area where I did a cooking class too. Still my favorite place in Mexico is Puerto Escondido so far. I’m dreaming of staying there for a longer period: surf, practice yoga, do more cooking classes and safe the turtles.

The areas I visited are less touristic than Yucatan, with Tulum, Cancun and Playa del Carmen places on the Caribbean side of Mexico. In traveled to those places too, blogs are coming, so stay tuned and follow me on Instagram!
