Guatemala Travel Guide

What is Guatemala a divers country!! The extraordinary landscape differ from volcanic, to jungle, to beach to the mountains. And most important the historic Maya culture is still alive in this traditional country. During my solo travel trip from two months in Central America, Guatemala was one of the highlights. For example the people are so friendly and helpful. Loved every minute in this green and gorgeous country Guatemala. I have a couple of  stamps of Guatemala in my passport; in from Mexico, exited to Belize, entered via Belize, in to Honduras and entered via El Salvador. So gooooo and explore, experience and enjoy this divers Central American country!!!

Why you should Travel to Guatemala!

The Maya pyramids of Tikal are a lust for the eyes and give you the trills during the sunrise. This was an experience I will never forget.  Siting on one of the Maya temples and hearing the jungle waking up, it was so intense. Before and after Tikal you can relax at the island Flores. Stroll on this lovely part at the lake and enjoy some nice food. The Spanish left behind a stunning architecture which you can see mainly in Antigua. The location of Antigua surrounded by the volcanos is breathtaking; one of my favorite cities. Try to take some Spanish lessons with the local school!

The natural scenery in Guatemala is superb. You have the jungle life in Río Dulce and Lívingston, unreal waters in Semuc Champey and both the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. And don’t forget the volcano panoramic views at Lago Atitlán. Visit a couple of villages around the lake, which all have a different look and feel. For every traveler there is reasons to visit this gorgeous Guatemala; it’s difficult not to love it!!  Check my Instagram page for more infomation.
