Dinner in Toronto
Close to my Airbnb on College Street, I went to Bar Isobel! What a catch; great tapas, great vibe in Little Italy. Make a reservation the restaurant is very popular and for a reason. I went early and could sit at the bar, lucky me! Good to know that Jamie Oliver is following this restaurant on Instagram!

I loved the vibe at Ossington Avenue. This street is full of bars, restaurant and nice shops. My Airbnb host recommended me to go here. I had a perfect pasta as Manita. A cute small restaurant with great service, nice terrace outside too!
When in Little Italy you have to eat pizza right! I had the best at Dannys Pizza Tavern on College Street. Order a huge pizza and sit outside on the nice terrace, perfect for a sunny day in hip and trendy Toronto!

After my biking tour I went to PAI, a hot spot in downtown Toronto. Very good and high rated Thai Food Restaurant. Liked the vibe down in the basement, but the Pad Thai was even better. Very popular so make a reservation in advance when you want to make sure you have a spot and skip the waiting line!

Sucker for Coffee
There are so many nice, hip and trendy coffee places in Toronto. If you don’t want something fancy but good most of the people go to Tim Hortons. This is a famous food franchise in Toronto, but I preferred to go to the more specialty coffee places.
Augusta Coffee Bar: Right in the center of Kensington Market. Minimalistic building with very good coffee and delicious pastries. All the hip and trendy visitors will go here in my opinion.

On Toronto Island is this the only nice coffee place called Runaway Café. The pink caravan and the surroundings are very cute, perfect for a cookie and coffee and soak up some sun.
5s Café: On 6 Denison Ave you will find this lovely coffee place with some tables and chairs outside. You get the coffee in a takeaway cup but the delicious scone with flowers on an old-fashioned plate. On Queens Street you will find more coffee places but this one you could sit outside!

Balzac’s Market Street: Next to the St. Lawrence Market you can find this specialty coffee place. I have seen more of Balzac’s, also in Niagara at the Lake. They offer a coffee with real Canadian maple sirup, give it a try when in Toronto. The pastries are delicious too; great place!

Healthy Breakfast
I went to Heal Wellness for a smoothy bowl twice! Perfect to start the morning with a filling healthy acai bowl with chia pudding and a lot more. Located on Collage Street in Little Italy. Unfortunately there is not a real terras, so I walked to the Trinity Bellwood’s Park nearby. Perfect to sit and chill in the sun on a bench watching the locals running and walking their dogs. Great vibe with always a nice view on the Toronto CN Tower.

Worldwide Lunches
In Kensington you have so many lunch options. You can get taco’s, pupusas or anything else from all over the world. This multi-cultural area offers a lot of street food. A good alternative to get a lunch or a snack is China Town. Perfect if you are in the mood for some tasty Asian food!
Toronto is a muti cultural city, with a population from all over the world. You can find any restaurant from every country. What is your favorite cuisine?!
